# Printytron

> Printytron (printytron.com) is a free web app that turns a plain-English description of a physical part into a downloadable, 3D-printable STL file. An AI agent builds the model live, iterates with you in chat, and self-corrects before showing results.

You describe the part you need in everyday language and receive a print-ready STL — a free text-to-STL / AI 3D model generator for 3D printing, no CAD skills, no software to install. Models can have several pieces; the viewer names and colours each one, and with a free account you can also export OBJ or 3MF, which keep those pieces as separate named, coloured parts (3MF in real millimetres). A Photo mode renders a print-real photo of the model in a chosen filament finish and scene. The STL works in any slicer (Bambu Studio, PrusaSlicer, Cura, OrcaSlicer). Printytron is best at functional parts (brackets, clips, holders, custom replacement parts), typography, and novelty prints. It is free to use, with no account required to start.
