Description
A split 1U rack tray designed to mount an Adtran 632 and a Home Assistant Yellow side-by-side, featuring a full-height 1U front faceplate with custom cutouts so the ports remain visible and accessible. The two halves join in the middle with a dovetail-style jigsaw joint (0.25mm clearance) so it can be printed on standard beds without hardware.
Remixing and Adjustments
This tray is built to be tweaked depending on the exact dimensions of your enclosures.
- Adtran Cutout: Sized at 136.5mm wide by 37mm tall.
- HA Yellow Cutout: Sized at 122mm wide by 33mm tall.
- Pockets: The internal fences give the devices 1-2mm of breathing room so they slide in smoothly behind the plate. Adjust the pocket blocks if your particular enclosures are bulkier.
- Joint Tolerance: The 0.25mm puzzle clearance prints nicely on a tuned FDM machine, but can be pushed to 0.15mm if you want a permanent friction fit.
