The heavy-duty aesthetic of the Fiskars knife calls for a simple, rugged docking station. Built on a standard 4x2 unit footprint, this tray swallows the knife whole while leaving generous finger grabs to pop it out fast when you're mid-project.

30mm Print-in-Place Hinged Box
A compact, support-free storage case designed to print as a single assembled unit. The clamshell design lies flat on the build plate, using internal conical pins to create a working 180-degree hinge straight off the printer. Dimensions: 30mm square footprint when closed; 20mm total height. Mechanism: Integrated conical barrel hinge with 0.4mm clearances. Closure: Friction-fit horizontal snap ridge on the front lip. Print Setup: Requires no supports. Best printed in PLA or PETG with standard 0.2mm layer heights.
Threaded Dual Incense Cases
Slip-fit caps always pop open exactly when you drop the case on the floor, scattering thin brittle sticks everywhere. I swapped the friction fit for a short threaded section — just three coarse turns so it secures fast but doesn't take all day to unscrew. Sizing and Fit Short Case: Fits standard 5.25" (133mm) sticks with a couple of millimetres to spare. Long Case: Fits 8.75" (222mm) sticks. Threads: 3mm pitch, 9mm length. Prints fine without supports, but don't over-tighten on the first test fit until the threads wear in.
Wall-Mounted Display Shelf
A sturdy wall-mounted shelf featuring a J-profile design with open sides. Built specifically to support moderate loads up to 2 kg, it includes a generous structural fillet at the rear corner and three countersunk mounting points to distribute weight evenly against the wall. A pronounced front lip keeps displayed items securely in place. The integrated countersunk holes are designed to be printed horizontally; they will bridge correctly on most standard FDM profiles without requiring internal supports. Recommended to use at least 3 perimeters (walls) for structural strength. Assembly Mounts directly to a flat surface using three standard flathead or countersunk screws (up to 4.5 mm thread diameter, 9 mm head). Suitable wall anchors are recommended based on the mounting surface to achieve the full 2 kg load capacity.

A sturdy, minimalist cylindrical container with a flush snap-fit lid. Designed to hold small components, screws, or bits, keeping them securely enclosed. Features Overall Dimensions: 50mm outer diameter, 20mm internal depth. Snap-Fit Mechanism: Features a continuous locking ridge and corresponding groove that engages firmly with a satisfying click. Flush Design: The lid sits completely flush with the outside walls when closed. Print-Ready: The lid is provided in an upside-down orientation, allowing both pieces to print cleanly without any supports.

A full-scale dimensional model of a standard closet shelf and rod assembly. The shelf sits above with integrated support brackets dropping down to hold the hanging rod securely.
