Description
A three-piece split 1U rackmount designed specifically to fit on smaller printers (under 180mm cubed volume). It supports an Adtran 632 ONT and a Home Assistant Yellow side-by-side, while leaving the third tray configured as a 6-port keystone patch panel.
Remixing the Rack Space
The base design features locking dovetails and bolted structural flanges that securely bridge the three pieces across a standard 19-inch rack.
- Keystone Spacing: The 6-port patch panel uses standard 14.8 x 16.2 mm cutouts. The wall directly behind them is thinned to 1.5mm so standard keystone clips engage properly without stressing the jacks.
- Split Points: The joints occur at X = -80 and X = +80. Adjusting these values lets you shift the proportions of the left, centre, and right trays depending on what device combination you want to mount next.
- Hardware Required: The mating flanges use four M3x16 bolts and matching M3 nuts to pull the dovetail seams tight and handle horizontal shear.

Split 13-Inch Slip Box
A simple, cleanly split rectangular enclosure meeting a 3" × 1" × 13" outer footprint. Designed to print standing vertically on the build plate, the two halves meet in the middle with a sliding half-lap joint that handles alignment and friction. Remix Hooks The source relies on a few key parameters that dictate the fit and feel. If you pull this into a remix, check these first: Dimensions: Currently W = 76.2, D = 25.4, and L = 172.6 (for each half, achieving the 330.2mm total length). Tweak these to fit whatever board or gear you are housing. Wall: Set to 3mm. This gives enough meat for the half-lap cut (leaving 1.5mm walls at the joint) without feeling overly bulky. Clearance: The joint runs a comfortable 0.4mm tolerance. Tighten it to 0.2mm if your printer is dialed in and you want a semi-permanent friction fit, or loosen it if it binds. Lip Length: The 15mm overlap keeps the assembled box rigid, but dropping it to 8-10mm would save a bit of plastic if the contents don't flex.

RailGrab — Bed Box Tray
A heavy-duty side tray designed to hook right over a bunk bed rail. The interior basin is dimensioned to securely hold a 3.9-inch square box, wrapped by a full 1-inch retaining lip so nothing gets knocked over in the dark. Dimensions Inner Basin: 100 mm × 100 mm (perfect clearance for a 3.9" box). Lip Height: 1 inch (25.4 mm). Rail Hook: Fits standard 1-inch bed rails. Print notes With its 5 mm solid walls, this tray acts as a structural bracket. Best printed in PETG or ABS for long-term creep resistance, though PLA will do fine if it won't see direct sunlight. Depending on your orientation, supports are required for the hook overhang.

Mechanical 40-Quarter Dispenser
A fully mechanical, gravity-fed coin magazine tailored for standard U.S. quarters. Designed to slip into a pool cue bag, it stores a full $10 roll vertically and cleanly dispenses exactly $1 (four quarters) per cycle into the palm of the hand. The mechanism relies on a two-stage sliding escapement. In the resting position, the bottom four coins sit perfectly flush inside the 7.2mm-thick slider pocket. When the thumb tab is pulled outward, a chamfered ramp on the top trailing edge of the pocket catches the fifth quarter and guides it smoothly onto the solid tail of the slider, suspending the rest of the stack. Once the pocket aligns with the drop chute at full extension, the isolated four quarters fall through. A captive printed pin mounted from the base runs in an internal track on the slider, acting as a hard travel limit for both the pull and return strokes. Remix & Tuning Hooks Threaded Cap: The top of the magazine tube now features a coarse 4mm-pitch thread, securing the cap firmly for travel. Magazine Height: The tube is dimensioned at 75mm to easily clear forty 1.75mm-thick quarters. Snip the cylinder height in the code to make a shorter 20-coin version. Coin Bore: Currently 25.2mm to allow 0.47mm radial clearance for a 24.26mm quarter. Tweak this offset for other currencies or tokens. Slider Thickness: The exact 7.2mm thickness dictates the dispense count (four coins). Scaling this Z-dimension alters how many coins drop per pull. Tolerances: The slider track relies on a 28.5mm bridge in the main body. If your printer sags on bridges, the slider can be sanded lightly, or the track height (7.6mm) can be nudged up.
