Description

Remix Hooks
- Thickness (10 mm): The defining parameter. Bump it to 12 mm or 15 mm if you need stiffness for heavier loads.
- Notch Depth (65 mm): Dictates how deep the bracket bites.
- Edge Treatment: Currently sharp for exact alignments, but easily chamfered if you'll be handling it frequently.
- Mounting: Ripe for adding countersunk bolt holes through the 25 mm tabs.

12-Inch L-Profile Bracket
A straightforward 90-degree L-profile extrusion, built to a 1.5" × 3" footprint and spanning 12 inches in length. Perfect as stock geometry for building custom brackets, rails, or edge guards. Remix Hooks Thickness: Currently set to a sturdy 1/4" (6.35 mm). This is the most obvious candidate for tweaking if you need a lower profile or a heavy-duty structural piece. Mounting: It's a blank slate. Drop in some counterbored holes along the Y-axis leg if you're mounting it to a wall, or slot it for adjustable brackets. Edge Treatment: The corners are left sharp for flush mounting, but adding a fillet to the inner vertex would strengthen the joint significantly for load-bearing use.
5 x 5 x 1 mm Square Block
A plain square block measuring 5 mm by 5 mm by 1 mm, flat on the bed and ready to print. Remix hooks Footprint: 5 x 5 mm is the starting value. Change it to make a tile, spacer or shim. Thickness: 1 mm is about five layers at 0.2 mm. Raise it for a sturdier piece. Edges: Add a small chamfer or rounding for a softer look. Keep it under 0.5 mm at this size. Pairs with: Use it as a test cube for tolerance checks, or as a base for a hole, text or a peg.
Flat L Bracket 15mm Strap
A flat L-shaped strap bracket with a 15 mm wide, 5 mm thick strap. Inside edges measure 70 mm along X and 65 mm along Y, giving an overall footprint of 85 × 80 mm. Five 5.5 mm holes suit M5 screws in 2020 extrusion slots. Remix hooks Arm lengths: the inside lengths (70 mm X, 65 mm Y) are the main parameters to change. Strap width: 15 mm now. Widening it allows holes offset from the centreline. Hole pitch: pairs are 20 mm apart, with the first hole 12.7 mm from the free end. Change the pitch for other slot spacings. Hole size: 5.5 mm clearance. Go up for counterbores or down for M4. Pairs with: 2020 extrusion, M5 T-nuts and button-head screws.
Sleeve — 0.385" OD Spacer Tube
Sleeve is a plain, precise hollow cylinder sized in inches: a straight-through bore and a clean outer wall, ready to use as a spacer, bushing or standoff. Dimensions Outer diameter: 0.385" (9.78 mm) Inner diameter: 0.26" (6.60 mm) Length: 0.75" (19.05 mm) Wall thickness: about 0.0625" (1.59 mm) Print notes Print standing on end, no supports needed. Bore may print slightly tight; ream or scale up a touch if fit matters.
Hex Tube 40 mm Tall With Center Bore
A hex tube, 4 cm tall, for when a round spacer or standoff spins or rolls where a flat-sided one would hold still. The 2.5 mm bore runs the full length so a rod, wire or screw passes straight through. Key dimensions Height: 40 mm Width: 5.15 mm point to point Center bore: 2.5 mm diameter, through the full length Printing Print standing upright, no supports needed. Walls are thin at the hex flats, so use at least 2 perimeters and a small nozzle if possible.
69 mm Round Spacer, 5 Holes
A round spacer 69 mm in diameter and 10 mm tall with a 40 mm center bore and five 5.5 mm through-holes on a 54 mm bolt circle.
