Clinical Auto-Retracting Tape Mount
A functional, single-piece, print-in-place wrist mount for an oval retractable tape measure, designed specifically for clinical nerve conduction studies. This iteration adds two key features requested by the clinician: Captive Retention: The top lip now has a deep 2.5mm overhang, completely trapping the tape measure so it cannot fall out during active movement. The side scallops were raised to keep the lip rigid and continuous. Auto-Retract Cantilever: The floor features an integrated, FDM-compliant C-shaped flexure tongue holding a 4.5mm domed pressure pad. When the tape measure is snapped in, this boss continuously depresses the central retract button, allowing the user to simply pull the tape out and let go for immediate automatic retraction. Setup and Usage Snap the 65×59mm tape measure in button-side down. Thread a standard 20mm or 22mm fabric strap through the side loops for a comfortable, non-restrictive fit on the forearm. Prints flat on its base without supports.
Friction-Fit Cylinder Bung
A utilitarian stopper milled down to exact measurements. The main barrel drops directly into the aperture, while a slight oversized collar keeps it from falling through. Heavy Soldering Helping Hands Base
A heavy replacement base for a helping hands soldering tool, designed to prevent the assembly from tipping over during use. The top surface incorporates four scooped pockets for holding screws and small electronic components securely on the bench. 120x120mm footprint with a 40mm thickness for stability.
