Description
Desktop switches left dangling by their patch cables or sliding around on top of rack gear are a preventable mess. These custom rack ears bolt right into the side of a TP-Link SG2016P, bridging the gap to a standard 19-inch server rack so it actually stays put.
Fit and Fabrication
- Span: Bridges an 89.5mm gap per side (assumes a 286mm wide switch).
- Side Mounting: Features three generous slots rather than fixed holes, accommodating variations in where TP-Link drills their chassis. Uses standard M3 or M4 screws.
- Rack Mounting: Standard 1U slotted holes (31.75mm center-to-center).
- Printing: Both ears lay flat on their front face. Zero supports required. Print in PETG or ABS if your rack runs hot, though standard PLA is structurally fine for a switch this light.

1U Faceplate Tray for Adtran & Yellow
A split 1U rack tray designed to mount an Adtran 632 and a Home Assistant Yellow side-by-side, featuring a full-height 1U front faceplate with custom cutouts so the ports remain visible and accessible. The two halves join in the middle with a dovetail-style jigsaw joint (0.25mm clearance) so it can be printed on standard beds without hardware. Remixing and Adjustments This tray is built to be tweaked depending on the exact dimensions of your enclosures. Adtran Cutout: Sized at 136.5mm wide by 37mm tall. HA Yellow Cutout: Sized at 122mm wide by 33mm tall. Pockets: The internal fences give the devices 1-2mm of breathing room so they slide in smoothly behind the plate. Adjust the pocket blocks if your particular enclosures are bulkier. Joint Tolerance: The 0.25mm puzzle clearance prints nicely on a tuned FDM machine, but can be pushed to 0.15mm if you want a permanent friction fit.
Monolithic Helmet Hook
A robust, monolithic wall hook designed specifically for the bulk and straps of bicycle helmets. The sweeping, angled arm reaches out far enough to clear the wall, terminating in a rounded lip that won't dig into foam liners or fray fabric straps. Built to print cleanly standing up, the overhang angles are steep enough to self-support on most FDM machines. Mounting Details Backplate: 120mm tall by 40mm wide, distributing the load. Hardware: Two standard 5mm countersunk screw holes. Clearance: The upper screw hole is positioned well above the hook's lip to ensure a screwdriver can reach it straight-on without interference.
12mm Bore 8-Slot Screwdriver Rack
An 8-position wall rack designed around a straight 12mm bore to capture standard screwdriver shafts. The top of each slot flares into a 30mm funnel, guiding tools into place without precise alignment above the workbench. Capacity: Holds eight screwdrivers with shaft diameters up to 11.5mm. Handle Clearance: 32mm center-to-center spacing. Accommodates standard acetate or rubber grips, but will crowd or reject over-molded handles larger than 30mm. Mounting Interface: Three recessed bores cut for standard #8 countersunk screws. GridLock — Split Open Drawer Frame
GridLock is a custom-fit drawer divider system completely stripped down to its essentials. Sized specifically to frame out compartments without wasting material on a floor, this open-grid organizer drops directly into a drawer, letting the existing liner or wood bottom show through. The frame has been split into four cleanly cut sections to allow printing a large 13.5-inch wide organizer on standard 220mm square print plates. Dimensions Total Assembled Footprint: 342.9 mm wide × 228.6 mm deep (13.5" × 9") Height: 25.4 mm (1") Maximum Piece Size: 171.5 mm × 114.3 mm (fits comfortably on an Ender 3 or Prusa MK series) Layout One full-width front compartment (3.5" deep). Two back compartments (one exactly 3.5" wide, the other filling the remaining space). No bottom—sits flush on your drawer base. Assembly Notes The four quadrants print completely flat without supports. Because the perimeter walls are thin to maximize storage space, they use straight flush cuts rather than bulky joints. Just add a drop of superglue (CA glue) to the seams, press them together on a flat surface, and you're good to go.

Für mehr Klemmkraft auf glatten Metallrohren kann die Schraube gegen eine Standard-Metallschraube mit Gummipad getauscht werden.

It supports an Adtran 632 ONT and a Home Assistant Yellow side-by-side, while leaving the third tray configured as a 6-port keystone patch panel. Remixing the Rack Space The base design features locking dovetails and bolted structural flanges that securely bridge the three pieces across a standard 19-inch rack. Keystone Spacing: The 6-port patch panel uses standard 14.8 x 16.2 mm cutouts. The wall directly behind them is thinned to 1.5mm so standard keystone clips engage properly without stressing the jacks. Split Points: The joints occur at X = -80 and X = +80. Adjusting these values lets you shift the proportions of the left, centre, and right trays depending on what device combination you want to mount next. Hardware Required: The mating flanges use four M3x16 bolts and matching M3 nuts to pull the dovetail seams tight and handle horizontal shear.
