Description
Most 3D-printed boxes rely on thin plastic living hinges that fatigue and snap off after a week of use, or require separate filament fragments as pins that eventually back out. This print-in-place trinket box uses a five-knuckle mechanical barrel hinge with integrated teardrop pins to prevent bridging collapse. A front thumb-tab with an offset detent provides a positive snap closure so the lid doesn't flap open when jostled in a drawer.

What it's for A miniature storage box with a slip-fit lid, perfectly sized for keeping tiny components, screws, or small parts securely contained. Dimensions Outer: 1.25" × 1.75" × 0.625" (31.75 × 44.45 × 15.87 mm) Wall thickness: 1.5 mm Lid clearance: 0.2 mm per side for a snug but easy-to-remove fit Assembly The lid prints completely separately alongside the main body. The small inner lip locates cleanly inside the box opening.
A small, sturdy stash box modeled after a classic domed chest, personalized with "Finn" on the front. Features: Dimensions: 80mm wide by 50mm deep; stands 51mm tall when closed. Fit: Designed as two separate pieces. The base features a 4mm registration lip with 0.4mm clearance to keep the lid securely in place without hinges. Printability: Both parts print flat on the bed with no supports required. Thick walls give the base a satisfying, substantial feel.
A protective travel shell explicitly shaped to match the AutoBrush U-shaped head without excess bulk. There's nothing more frustrating than opening your travel bag to find your toothbrush head snagged on something and exposed to the bottom of your wash bag. This clamshell encloses the head securely with mechanical latches tucked firmly into the straight side edges so they don't catch on anything. Fit & Print Details Hinge: Integrates a full-length structural hinge pin printed separately for maximum mechanical strength. Latch Mechanics: Dual snap latches cross the mating seam, biting tightly to keep the case closed when dropped. Support Requirement: Flat base layout means this case prints reliably with no supports and zero overhang spaghetti.
A compact, mechanically-hinged clamshell case designed for standard U-shaped electric toothbrush heads. Two-piece Enclosure: Solid matching upper and lower shells provide physical protection during storage or travel. Positive Closure: Features a mechanical snap-tab latch for secure closing and a separate 3D-printable hinge pin. Handle Clearance: A clean 5×5 mm center opening allows the case to shut around the brush head while it remains attached to the toothbrush handle. Internal Standoffs: Four internal bumps securely locate the brush head without crushing the bristles.
A single-piece makeup and vanity organizer built to the specified 200x140x90mm volume. The layout uses an asymmetric stepped profile to match compartment depths to their contents while maintaining a clean, minimalist silhouette. All interior vertical edges feature a 3mm radius to prevent powder buildup, and the outer shell carries an 8mm continuous radius. Specifications Dimensions: 200mm (W) × 140mm (D) × 90mm (H) overall. Brush Storage: Two rear compartments (90mm deep) sized for long-handled tools. Creams & Perfume: Twin mid-tier compartments (60mm deep) accommodating standard jars and bottles. Lipstick Grid: 16 independent 21.5mm square slots arranged in a 4×4 matrix (45mm deep). Jewelry Tray: Shallow front-left basin (30mm deep) for rings and small items.
