The dome is a simple half-ellipsoid that covers the core geometry, leaving plenty of room for modifications. Remix Hooks Crown Height: Set to a default 100mm. Scale the Z-axis of the crown geometry if you need a taller top hat or a shallower boater profile. Brim Contour: It is completely flat right now to survive the first layer on a 400x400mm bed. You could run a slight Z-warp over the outer 50mm to give it a swoop, though that will require supports. Material: At 2.4mm thick, this is dimensioned for standard rigid filaments (PETG/PLA) to hold its shape. Dialing the thickness down to 1.2mm for TPU would give the brim some authentic flop.

I stripped out the old jagged polygon boundaries and replaced them with tangent arcs—giving the wings a true biological sweep while keeping the hinge exactly where it needs to be. The antennae are anchored deep into the head block, so they'll actually survive a drop or two. Remix hooks Wing span: Currently sweeps out to roughly 108mm across. You can pull the outer hull coordinates further out for a longer wingspan. Vein pattern: Driven by basic hulls intersecting the wing body. Easy to swap in your own grid or voronoi generator. Hinge tolerance: Locked at 0.4mm clearance on the barrels and pins, which works beautifully for standard PLA. If your printer over-extrudes, scale the pin down slightly.

A printable, eight-note pan flute tuned roughly to a C-Major scale (C6 through C7). The pipes overlap to form a solid, rigid body, bound by a single structural band. I inverted the model so the blowing edge sits perfectly flat on the build plate—this guarantees a smooth lip interface and allows the entire instrument to print without a single support structure. The voicing window and blade are engineered with printability in mind: the internal angles act as clean overhangs, so the whistle mechanism forms sharply without needing extra plastic cleared out later.
