Description

Monitor wall mounts usually involve a terrifying moment where you try to hook a heavy VESA plate onto a bracket you can't see while holding the screen with your face. This drops the VESA standard entirely for monitors that don't have it. A central hub screws directly into a wall stud, and four long arms slide outward in locking dovetail tracks to grip the actual corners of the display housing.

The arms clamp around a 0.5" thickness and wrap the bezel with an 8mm front retaining lip, leaving the active screen area completely unblocked. Mechanical drop-in pegs lock the sliding tracks once the arms are snug.

Slicing & Fitment

  • Monitor Dimensions: Exactly tailored for a W 21.5" x H 12.5" x D 0.5" screen.
  • Print Layout: The model is presented assembled to show the sliding mechanism. Use the "Split to Objects" or "Split to Parts" command in your slicer to separate the center plate, four arms, and four pins, then lay them all flat on the build plate.
  • Tolerances: 0.3mm clearance on the dovetails; 0.5mm clearance on the 4mm locking pins.
  • Mounting: Uses two standard #8 or #10 wood screws (spaced 50mm apart) directly into a wall stud.
