Description
A rigid preparation paddle designed to separate foliage from fibrous stalks and woody herb stems. The tool replaces manual picking by drawing the stem through a closely matched bore, forcing the leaves off the stalk in a single pass.
Fitment and Specifications
- Operating Range: Six graduated bores step down from 12mm to 3mm to accommodate varying stalk thicknesses.
- Supported Host Material: Sized for thick-stemmed leafy greens including mature kale and Swiss chard, as well as woody herbs like rosemary and thyme.
- Known Incompatibilities: Will not cleanly strip soft-stemmed herbs like cilantro, basil, or parsley. Soft stems will crush or snap under tension rather than feeding through the die.
