Description

The garden hose floats, the pool floor is bare, and the last half-inch of water refuses to drain. You prop the hose with a brick, it slips, the siphon breaks, and you start over.

This unified pickup drops onto the pool floor and forces the siphon to pull from a continuous 3mm gap right at the base. The hollow internal plenum distributes suction evenly, while bottom grooves stop the plate from vacuum-sealing itself to the liner.

Print Strategy

  • Dimensions: 128 × 128 × 11.5 mm (excluding standard 3/4" GHT thread).
  • Bridging: The internal chamber is packed with a 16mm grid of support pillars and a solid center ledge. The roof spans those gaps perfectly flat without slicer supports.
  • Material: PETG or ASA recommended to survive the sun and pool chemicals. Use dense infill so it sinks.
