Description
The garden hose floats, the pool floor is bare, and the last half-inch of water refuses to drain. You prop the hose with a brick, it slips, the siphon breaks, and you start over.
This unified pickup drops onto the pool floor and forces the siphon to pull from a continuous 3mm gap right at the base. The hollow internal plenum distributes suction evenly, while bottom grooves stop the plate from vacuum-sealing itself to the liner.
Print Strategy
- Dimensions: 128 × 128 × 11.5 mm (excluding standard 3/4" GHT thread).
- Bridging: The internal chamber is packed with a 16mm grid of support pillars and a solid center ledge. The roof spans those gaps perfectly flat without slicer supports.
- Material: PETG or ASA recommended to survive the sun and pool chemicals. Use dense infill so it sinks.

It is ideal for newly planted aquascape stems that have not yet developed a stable root system. Dimensions Overall footprint: 25mm in diameter and 8mm thick. Entry slot: 2.5mm wide, running from the edge to the center. Center hole: 4mm diameter clearance to accommodate typical aquatic plant stems safely. Remix ideas Increase the overall thickness to provide more anchoring mass for highly buoyant plants. Widen the entry slot and center hole to accept thicker stem varieties. Change the outer shape from a cylinder to a square or hexagon to pack multiple weights tightly together in dense planting zones.
