Description
This is a print-in-place ball joint that acts as a miniature thumb joystick. The entire assembly prints as one welded-together block with an internal 0.4 mm gap; once it's off the build plate, a firm snap frees the stick to rotate and swivel in the base. It is designed to be as small as FDM printers can reliably manage without snapping the stalk.

What it's for A captive, fully print-in-place mechanical fidget toy. It features three deep-treaded thumb wheels trapped within rounded U-brackets at the corners, plus a central rotating hub. The entire assembly drops onto the build plate as a single unit and breaks free immediately after printing. Dimensions Overall footprint: ~88 mm point-to-point. Thickness: 16 mm frame (top hub cap sits 1.5 mm higher). Clearance: 0.4 mm gap around all moving parts. Print notes Designed for PLA with no supports. Elephant-foot compensation chamfers are built directly into the bottom faces of the captive axles and the center hub hole, ensuring the mechanisms won't fuse to the build plate on the first layer.

Clearances: 0.5 mm radial and axial gap between all moving surfaces. Overhangs: Conical pivots operate at a 45-degree angle, requiring no supports. What it's for A fully print-in-place fidget roller inspired by continuous-motion hand toys. It features two heavily grooved outer cylinders captured on a rigid internal frame. Built to be rolled continuously in one hand to keep fingers busy. Dimensions Overall size: 37 mm wide, 63 mm tall, 22 mm deep. Rollers: 22 mm diameter, 50 mm tall with 20 scalloped grip grooves. Clearance: Designed with a 0.5 mm gap top, bottom, and radially around the axles for a free spin immediately off the build plate. Print notes Prints completely vertically without supports. The top frame link is designed with a flat bottom to bridge cleanly across the two internal axles without adhering to the rollers beneath it. Once finished, a firm twist breaks any minor stringing and frees the rollers.
Pocket Multi-Fidget Block
What it's for A dense, multi-function pocket fidget block that packs six tactile mechanisms into a single footprint. Designed to be printed entirely flat without supports, it features a print-in-place captive joystick, a spinning side-wheel, and two cantilevered clicky buttons. The front edge houses a deep hidden storage slot containing a flat-packed basketball kit. The backboard (complete with a rubber band hook on the rear) slots into the top of the block, and the rim snaps firmly into the backboard. Finally, one quadrant contains an internal hollow tank cavity with a threaded fill plug and a side spout. The top wall of the tank is intentionally thin (0.8mm) with a tactile button pad—pressing it lightly flexes the roof, simulating a squirt-pump mechanism.
