Description
A four-stage concentric gyroscope built to spin freely straight off the build plate. The rings alternate their pivot axes, allowing the core to tumble smoothly in three dimensions while the outer frame stays anchored in the hand. The clearances are set tight enough to keep the action crisp, but loose enough to break free with a single twist after printing.
Construction Details
- Print-in-Place: Internal spherical pivots bridge the air gaps without requiring supports.
- Tolerances: Features a uniform 1.5mm air gap between rings and 0.5mm radial clearance on all internal ball joints.
- Edges: Chamfered top and bottom profiles prevent elephant's foot from fusing the rings and offer a softer feel.

Captive-Pea Emergency Keychain Whistle
A 50mm print-in-place emergency whistle built around a 12mm spherical resonating chamber.
