Description
This cylindrical lithophane canvas encircles standard candle bulbs while keeping thermal softening at bay. Hidden within the smooth exterior shell, a series of internal standoffs maintains a critical separation between the delicate shade and the heat source. The inner structure rests naturally over the top of the bulb, creating a luminous focal point without risking material deformation.
Design Notes
- Thermal Clearance: Integrated internal ribs enforce a 15mm air gap, keeping PLA safely insulated from bulb heat.
- Proportions: Framed around an 80mm external diameter to provide ample surface area for light diffusion.
- Support Structure: The skeletal bracing centers the cylinder securely on the bulb's crest without the need for external mounting hardware.
