My first printer was a Flashforge, and that's what inspired this model! Print a tiny one for yourself.
A printer printing a printer? It's micro-fabrication all the way down. This desktop diorama captures the essence of modern FDM right in the middle of a calibration print. Perfect for sitting on top of your actual extruder to remind it what peak performance looks like.

A 60mm scale miniature modelled after Red Sea lighthouse outbuildings. It features a hollowed, two-storey masonry block base with a mid-level verandah. A miniature desktop house styled after Antoni Gaudí's organic architecture. The base footprint is compact, featuring undulating, asymmetric walls that slope into a domed roof. The defining feature is the massively oversized, twisting octagonal chimney that towers over the structure, capped with a traditional bulbous spire. Great as a standalone shelf piece or painted as part of a fantastical diorama. Remix Hooks This is modelled completely solid as a decorative exterior piece, but it's built cleanly out of primitives to make modifying it easy. Shelling it out: If you want to drop an LED tea light inside, subtract a cyl(d=35, l=25) from the underside of the main body, and push the window cutters deeper so they breach the new inner wall. Chimney Twist: The stack is currently a linear_extrude with twist=-220. Cranking that to -360 will give it a much tighter spiral, while swapping the base $fn=8 to a star shape will give it aggressive ridges instead of soft facets. Spine Ridge: The dragon-back roof scales are generated by a single mathematical loop. You can swap the spheres out for tiny pyramids or spikes if you want a more gothic vibe.

Having a massive bald spot on the forehead just makes the whole thing look unfinished, but printing the bumps straight into the eye sockets ruins the face entirely. I narrowed the clearance zone down to just the immediate space around the eyes—the upper forehead is covered in brain folds again, but they stop right before crashing into the eyes. A monolithic, stylized galleon designed as a rugged desk piece or toy. It features a sweeping flat-bottomed hull, stepped decks, three heavy masts, and rigid furled sails. The main sail carries a raised skull-and-crossbones emblem. Features: Hull Design: Broad midship and flared stern to minimize tipping. Armament: Ten fixed broadside cannons port and starboard. Rigging: Rigid 10-degree tilted sails and solid yardarms. Printability: Single-piece construction. Sails and masts are thick enough to self-support during standard FDM extrusion.

A rigid half-cuff designed for cosplay and collecting, featuring magnetic recesses to hold separate star chips. The cuff is sized to print as two halves that snap together around the wrist using 5x2mm magnets. The star chips are also magnetised, letting you click them in and out of the slots as you earn them. Remix hooks Wrist Fit: Currently set to a 65mm inner diameter with an 8mm wall. Clearance: The star chip is scaled 0.5mm smaller than the recess — scale it in your slicer if your printer needs more or less tolerance. Magnets: All holes are modelled at 5.2mm wide and 2.2mm deep for standard 5x2mm neodymium disc magnets.

Lucent is a minimalist C-channel spine designed to hold two 1-inch thick, 4x6 acrylic photo blocks in a vertical stack. Rather than encasing the blocks, it grips them from the back using a continuous tension spine and two tiny retention tabs at the extreme top and bottom, remaining almost completely invisible from the front. The entire assembly leans back at a subtle 7-degree angle. Because 2 pounds of solid acrylic has a tendency to tip, the clip features an extended, wedge-shaped rear foot that acts as a counter-lever, keeping the stack firmly planted on your desk. Dimensions Capacity: Holds exactly two 4" x 6" x 1" blocks stacked vertically (8" total height). Clearance: 26.2mm deep slot with a 204.4mm height, allowing the blocks to slide in easily from the side without binding. Footprint: 40mm wide by 75mm deep. Print notes When you import this into your slicer, lay it flat on its side. Printing it sideways ensures the layer lines run continuously along the entire length of the spine. If you print it standing upright, the layers will run horizontally, and the leverage of the heavy acrylics will snap the spine across a layer line. Printed flat, it requires zero supports and is essentially unbreakable.
