A 180mm slow feeder bowl featuring an internal spiral maze, designed to pace eager cats who inhale their food. The layout uses a 40mm pitch Archimedean spiral of 15mm tall bumps, creating a continuous winding channel that forces pets to work for their kibble instead of gulping it.
Remix Parameters & Tuning
- Bowl Dimensions: Starting at a 180mm outer diameter and 45mm total height (40mm internal depth). Easy to scale down for smaller portions or up for dogs.
- Spiral Pitch: The 40mm pitch defines the main track width. Adjusting this value directly changes the difficulty and accommodates larger kibble sizes.
- Bump Density: Currently populated with 24 rounded bumps, each standing 15mm tall. Modifying the bump count tightens or loosens the spacing along the track.
- Post-Processing: Best paired with food-safe materials like PETG. For long-term daily use, consider sealing the finished print with a food-safe epoxy to smooth out layer lines and make washing easier.
