Auto-Retract Cantilever: The floor features an integrated, FDM-compliant C-shaped flexure tongue holding a 4.5mm domed pressure pad. When the tape measure is snapped in, this boss continuously depresses the central retract button, allowing the user to simply pull the tape out and let go for immediate automatic retraction.
